In this new take of a classic Chinese folklore, an adventurous teenage boy lives in a city shared by humans and elf-like mages called the Yaos.

As tension builds between the two races after a series of seemingly unsolicited events, he slowly uncovers the sinister plot behind them, and also his true identity, something he’ll initially finds very difficult to live with.

To save his city from civil war and defeat the Mighty Perpetrator, he must harness the power of his mysterious magical lantern, and go on his greatest adventure yet, the one within himself.
